The emphasis of Foundations classes is skill development and exposure to the fundamental movements of CrossFit. It is designed to better prepare you to enter our ongoing CrossFit group classes. We will be emphasizing technique — to ensure your safety and to ensure success at the next level. First, we will introduce you to technique and mechanics, then increase intensity. We will teach you basic skills that progressively become more technical as you become comfortable with the movements.

Group Classes: CrossFit

These are the cornerstone of what we do at CrossFit Alasad. CrossFit is a fitness program designed using constantly varied, functional movement performed at a relative high intensity. As a truly functional program, we design our daily workouts to be scaled up-or down-to be accessible to all populations. CrossFit is infinitely scalable and your CrossFit Alasad Coaches are very, very good at making sure that the workout is modified for ANY fitness level. This philosophy gels our community into one whole, without cliques. It also allows each member to have their workout personally scaled to their needs. And, we have found, it allows for faster growth to achieving workouts as prescribed, without modifications.

Personal Training

Open Gym

Are you working on specific workouts and targeting certain areas? Then come in to work on your own during open gym! You will have access to the whole box to focus on your own training and concentrate on what you want to work on.

Alasad Sprint

Alasad Sprint is a class designed for athletes who want the high-intensity, constantly varied, functional movements of CrossFit but don’t share the same excitement as some of the complex barbell movements. Classes will include body weight movements, rowing, running, jumping/plyometrics, medicine balls, kettlebells, dumbbells, and whatever other things we can come up with, in longer metcon formats. Alasad Sprint is still CrossFit and we will continue to develop the 10 general physical skills: Cardiovascular Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy, there will simply be limited barbell involvement.
